Not a very good professor, his classes are boring and you can barely hear him. He's very nice but expects you to know things before coming to class. He also picks on a lot of people during class. Not an easy A, not even an easy B.

Pondillo is a genuinely nice professor who wants to see his students succeed. Out of all the teachers I have had at Siena he is my favorite. If you need help go to office hours, tests and quizzes are based on the readings in the chapter

Dont not take, does not teach, he rambles on about random business topics that have noting to do on the test. The tests questions are never covered in class so tests are impossible. Avoid at all costs

Did not like his teaching style at all, tests are tricky and he is unclear on what is going to be on them. He uses the old (80's) style charts instead of calculator. Class is mandatory, Talks at you instead of actually teaching you. Overall he is an old school teacher

Pondillo is old school, he does not allow you to use the TVM in the calculator which is just nuts.. he forces all of his students to use the charts that are from the 80's. Tests are difficult and class is hard to stay focused.

Junior and Seniors, be aware if you dont do well he will not have any sympathy. Only 3 tests and a comprehensive final exam. Tests are hard, but that is to be expected. If you are absent more than 3 times he drops you a letter grade. If you are good at math/finance/accounting take him, if u need wiggle room AVOID!

Old School,complains about students attendance. Mouth twitching becomes a distraction, teaching style is OK. The tests are 100% of your grade. No HW/bonuses/attendace to help boost your grade.Yes I got a D in this course, and have since graduated & still think back to how unsympathetic he was. Would definitely like to give him a Stone Cold Stunner

He's a really nice guy and helpful too. Attendance isn't (wasn't after this semester) mandatory so the people that did bad in his class probably never showed up. Can be a little unclear and moves quickly at times but i never ask questions so i can only blame myself for that...highly recommend this professor

those people that are saying that pondillo picks on people are out of their minds. it's finance, it's a hard class, so if you expect a professor to hold your hand the entire time then get a new major. he's awesome and very very helpful, and definitely tries to make everyone understand the material. the tests aren't that hard if you study.

sweetest professor at siena. very understanding and very helpful. his lectures are quite difficult to understand, so i found myself teaching myself before every test. read the textbook and you should do fine. only grades are 3 tests and the final, which sucks if you bomb one. GO SEE HIM! he will raise your grade @ the end if he knos u tried hard!!

Pondillo's class is all lecture and you still have to teachyourself b/c it's hard to understand what he is talking about. His tests are so-so, the workout problems are straight from class problems, but his multiple choice are impossible. My other friends in finance seemed to struggle less with other teachers.

Really good professor, allows you to "pass" to any questions you dont know the answer to in class. You need to read the book, but not really until you start studying for the tests. Tries really hard to get you to understand and is open to any questions, so ask Q's!! If you dont get somehting and then dont ask, thats your fault.

Pondillo is a very smart professor he just doesnt have a clue how to communicate the finance information he knows to students which can make the class very hard. I also agree with the person who said that he picks on people during class. Look around first before signing up for this class.
