decent teacher, but the text books are terrible. many online readings about absolutely nothing important, and the book reviews are a pain. he grades them pretty easy as long as you write intelligently, but the books you have to read are terrible.

Incredible teacher. People need to stop whining about his classes being difficult, because people who are looking to simply breeze through a class without doing work can't do that in his classes. Don't take him if you aren't ready to do some meaningful learning or are too much of a whiner to work hard.

Man up for anyone who is crying about hard ken is, he is easily one of the most intellegent professors on campus and i have had him for 4 years now. Yeah if you want to read Goosebump books and still be in 3rd grade you might not want to take his class but if you have slight intellegence you would know you could actually learn something with him.

Ken was hard to get used to, he talks fast and has a very dry sense of humor, but once I got into his class I enjoyed his lectures. I was pissed when I got a D on my first paper for him, but it motivated me to work hard, and I ended up with a B in his class. If you're willing to put in the effort, so will he. And his accent is charming too.

He is seriously the grammar nazi but I love him for it. He was hard on me and in turn it helped me to discipline myself about my writing and I improved bunches because of it. i loathe this filthy ****. for my final i wrote an essay about how much i hate him. he assigns crazy amounts of the dullest**** to read, he was no help when i went to him for guidance on a paper. he is the worst professor i have had by far. i would advise anyone to avoid a class with him.
