Absolutely incredible professor! So interested in what he is teaching, very thorough explanations, and answers every question. As long as you pay attention in class and put in effort, you will do well in his class. One of my favorite professors I have had, he is the bomb. Even if you miss a few classes it's no big deal, but do show up a good amount

Professor Peter was one of the best professors I have ever in my college career. Not only that, but he is the kindest and smartest person. No wonder he won an award of most outstanding professor this year! The class was not an easy A but his lectures were really enjoyable and very clear. He gives quizzes but is a very fair grader.

I've had the chance to not only take one of his classes, but also work with him for the university. He is the most amazing professor I have had while at SJSU. The quality of his lectures are astounding and he cares about his students. You have to go to most classes to get a good grade, but coming to class is completely worth it.

Just finished Fall sem. of HUM1A with Peter. 6 "pop" quizzes on the nightly readings. Lectures are interesting and well organized. 2 long essays that are pretty hard yet though provoking. Pretty tough grader on essays, but it comes with really good feedback. Gives extra credit. Seminar was helpful. Not an "easy" A, but a doable A with enough effort

Another amazing professor the Humanities program has to offer. His lectures are clear and concise and will clear up anything that was difficult to understand during seminar. He's very knowledgeable and professional, but is easy to connect with as a person. Grades are based off of 2 papers, participation, midterm/final and some small assignments.

I highly recommend him. He is insightful and teaches you things in a new perspective. Seminars were eye opening and I learned a lot from him. I really like his teaching style (grade is based on 1 midterm, 1 final, 2 papers, and a mini report). He grades a hard on essays, so pay attention when he explains what he wants. He's a great professor!

This man is absolutely brilliant. He is a fantastic, passionate lecturer, and very approachable in and after class. He will force you to think and take charge of in-class discussions. His class is not easy, but you will learn SO much. Make sure you turn in every assignment. If you miss one, it will have a big impact on your grade.

Great Professor. Probably the best overall professor I've had yet. Very intelligent, clear, humble, kind, considerate, engaging etc. SJSU needs more professors like Peter on board. His class isn't exactly easy, but if you care to learn the subject it's worth it. Pretty fair grader.

Professor Peter is seriously one of the best teachers I've ever had. He's intelligent. enthusiastic, funny and knows what he talking about. He expects the class to take charge and direct the discussion but if you're stumped he'll definitely get you thinking a lot harder about what you're talking about. Awesome teacher, I highly recommend him.

I loved Professor Peter's class. I had his class at 730 am, and he managed to keep the topics interesting. He only has 4 assignments for the class; 2 in class essay midterms, 1 midterm take home essay, and a term paper for the final. He is a very easy grader. I was late to almost every one one of his classes and I still got a B+. Take notes!
