I hated him the first couple days, but he really does grow on you. Loves Bob Dylan and hates the Republicans (though he DOES respect all opinions, just make sure you can back it up.) He seems like a tough grader on papers, but really, he just writes a bunch of negative comments and still gives you an A. Def. best for English majors though.

Since when is research and writing a political science class? I learned all this information in my high school government class. All we write about is political things and he grades us on that, not our grammar. Horrible teacher. I wish freshman weren't required to take this. AVOID THIS TEACHER! Most ridiculous professor ever! He told me he'd pass me long as I worked hard, so I did. I stayed in the class when I should have dropped it. THEN he told me that by no stretch of his ethical values could he pass me, & I failed, slaughtering my GPA. I am not pleased at all. This was an entry level course that I'm paying a TON of money to re-take.

The worst teacher I have ever had! Very hard class for a 100 level course. Quizzes every class, and very hard on the research paper and Tests. I would advise you take another teacher instead of him and save your GPA!

This is the most ridiculous english class that has ever had to endure. Topics for papers are not open ended and if you dont do things his way you are bound to get a low grade. Even if you have a decent paper he will use references like " repetitious" and "too vague and colloquial." Long story short, he is an extremely hard grader. Dont take him.

Not my kind of prof! His quizzes have the most random questions and the amount of reading that you are required to do is not easy. I found his expectations from his students to be quite high. I wouldn't recommend his class, especially if you have a busy schedule.

Dry sense of humor, but at the same time he could be funny. His class is pretty painless...just be sure to read the stuff before class so you know the answer when he calls on you. He quizzes get annoying after a while though.
