Prof. Wise is amazing! He is such a great and interesting professor. He is very considerate and helpful to students too! This class was pretty easy, just use the study plan to get 100s on hw, and use the study plan to study for tests. Also, WRITE AS MUCH AS YOU CAN ON THE NOTECARD FOR TESTS! This saved me on my tests!

Comment:

Mr. Wise is a "one in a million" professor. He not only makes math interesting, but he shows you how it is currently being used today. I frequently went to his office hours for additional help and he was always more than willing. If it wasn't for him, I would not have passed let alone got an A.

Wise is easily the best math professor I have ever had. He is unbelievably helpful and clear. Willing to go SUPER slow to ensure that everyone understands the material. Very subtle sense of humor that keeps the class interesting. Great at relating math to the real world. HIGHLY recommend.

Was interesting while teaching, I never fell asleep in class(which happens a lot in my other classes) was always very helpful in explaining stuff. Made this course easy to transfer and I'm grateful for that. He is a great teacher.

I hate math, so I didn't really like this class. I thought he gave busy work with mymathlab, and his lectures were boring. His grading scale is weird, like with his test you can answer 25 out of 30 questions, but if you choose to answer those questions and get them wrong, he count it as wrong.

Mr. Wise is great, he has a subtle sense of humor and challenges you if you answer him during class. Not in a bad way, in a good way. He doesn't just accept an answer. For example, if you said "its an even number" he would ask what makes it an even number. I appreciate his teaching style, and the interaction he gives in class.

Mr. Wise is a wonderful teacher and makes learning math really rewarding and doesn't make you feel stuped for having to go over maath several times and even finds ways to demonstrate a concept from various angles till you get it. He obviously has the students success at heart and obviously LOVES what he's doing. I Strongly reccommend him.

Wow, what a terrific class! Mr. Wise has such a wonderful way of taking the topics and presenting then to you in ways that make it easy to understand. Takes the time to go over it again if a student needs more clarification. Very sweet man, silly jokes. Math class with Wise is FUN! Love him. Online homework is EASY but don't get behind!

Great teacher, loved his class. Didnt use the book at all very easy class. Test are in class but if you do the homework before the test you will be fine. I talk to him like he a friend of mine and joke around with him all the time. Love this teacher.

He is a great teacher, explains everything so you can understand it.Tests were fairly easy, you can use a cheat sheet for each test.Homework is easy b/c he lets you ask lots of?'s before class and he does them for you. Math isn't a fun subject, he makes it fun.

I detest Math and am horrible at it, but came out of this class with a "B" which I was thrilled with. I personally feel that Wise has been one of the best professors I have had. He would take the time to explain problems to you if you didn't understand and was willing to meet after or before class.
