I'm almost willing to pay triple to take Calc III at Wayne State. He is very unorganized and unprofessional. Yes, he may be some savant at math, but as a professer you need to relate that to the students. He jumped all over the place in his lecture and seemed more concerned with talking down to students and cracking jokes. Take Murany if you can!

Dr.aeschilman was the best math teacher i had at O.C.C. he explained everything crystal clear from adding and subtracting to algerbea.

Prof. A is a great teacher who is passionate about math-very funny too. Downside is that the tests are very difficult. My suggestion would be to study sections VERY thoroughly before tests. Know the language. He has an SI who is available before and after class. The SI knows his way of teaching which is a big plus. Tutors in ASC are helpful too.

Great professor. Explains material thoroughly and clearly, has a good sense of humor, shows many examples to different subject areas, and grades fairly. However, he doesn't go into that much depth for some topics that come up later in higher-level courses.

I had him for Calc II. He explained the concepts fairly clearly, much like a high school teacher instead of a college professor. If you are lost in a large university and would like to LEARN calculus, take his class over summer. Best thing, he gives you LOTS of time for tests and generous grading curves. His TA was helpful too.

The Prof. presented the material in a clear manner. Helpful and made the class interesting. Would show up for class 15-30 minutes late then would rush through some of the material at the end of class. Tests were hard and long. Class is not too bad if you do all the homework and attend the study sessions. You will work hard for your grade.

Avoid at all costs!! Learn more about his 10 kids, than calculus. Tells a bunch of dumb stories with very little relevance to the class. Arrogant and does not explain concepts well. Has good sense of humor, but not a good teacher.

One of the best math teachers I have ever had. I have not took a math class in 10 years. He doesn't move on until everyone in the class understands. I will be getting a "A" out of his class. The best of the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love this guy. Personally, he was very inspiring, and accademically, he was very helpful and encouraging. He is genuine, charming, witty, and friendly. His teaching/lectures are VERY clear and he rewards you for yoru hard work. He made me believe in myself (I didn't expect this!!).

Wonderful teacher! Clear, friendly, and helpful. He's willing to take the time his students need to make sure they do well. The only warning I can give is that he graded my class only on tests. Bad test takers beware! He does a lot of study sessions to help you prepare, though, and there's no rush.

honestly speaking, the class was difficult...however, if you worked hard, did all the hw (sometimes twice), and stayed on top of things, you could manage an A. He knows what he's talking about and is a pretty good prof. :)
