He will let you weight future hwks,quiz,attendance. Don't miss Tu-quiz day. Get help from Neelam for skill builders, you will need it. He won't teach you how to do DMLDDL. He expects you to learn stuff on your own. I spend 15+hrs doing one HWK. First test is jeopardy. Final is open book. Allow to submit hwk 3x but will take weeks to get HWK graded

Absolute worst. No one has any clue what is going on. After a quiz he asked the class what the answer was and no had any idea. Asked him to lecture & he refused. When he does "answer" something he talks in circles, never actually answering. TA is no help at all. Learning absolutely nothing. Considering complaining to his head of dept. DON'T TAKE!!

It seems like Sandoe has completely restructured the class. Incredibly easy as long as u don't procrastinate. Mostly online & no book. Attendance not required, he gave extra credit when u did come. Easy online weekly quizzes - u get 3 tries at. One group debate that was easy and the final was optional if you needed more points. Funny & nice guy!

Overall an average instructor. He's quirky and disorganized. Grades were rarely updated and the exam questions are not very clear. On the plus side, lectures are entertaining and prezi is a good alternative to PowerPoint.

Very quirky, funny professor. Subject was a bit difficult for me, but he gives a very useful study guide. Go to class, exams are strongly based on lecture material. Some of it can be confusing so take good notes.

Very good lecturer. Gave a memorable lecture about finding jobs. Sandoe makes it fun learning about the basics in information technology. Not a tough class, not designed to be. Strongly recommend. And go to class.

AMAZING professor! He is interesting and funny. a very nerdy professor and really passionate about his job. His lectures are also interesting and his exams are easy. There are a lot of dumb Chico State students that are not studious that complain on their low test scores since they dont go to class or listen. I recommend him for MINS 301 for sure.

Kent's lectures are all over the place and pretty much nothing he lectures on will show up on the tests. He has missed class 3 times this semester without any forewarning, so everyone was sitting in the 8 AM class waiting for him to show... Pretty lame if you ask me. I would take somebody else.

He missed classes all the time. He was never avaialble during office hours. We had one midterm, which everybody failed. We were supposed to get a take home exam which he never gave us. Thursday class was not mandatory. Doesn't look like he is giving us a second exam.

He is a nice guy but a horrible teacher. Don't expect to learn much from him. You really have to read the book material and get help from fellow classmates. Like the previous comments, he's teaching style is everywhere. I recommend learning a little bit of SQL before coming to class.

He is really cool. Took whole class for a trip to O'Reilly publisher. I really enjoyed his class. He knows his stuff but you got to ask him questions. I personally enjoyed his class, really practical.

Very nice professor, but is really flakey. He does not know if he is coming or going. You might have to sing a song. Add a column…One-to-many… Easy A for any class you have with him, just do the work. Do not expect to learn any thing from him you will have to learn it yourself.
