Really cool guy. The kind of guy you could easily be friends with. He has a passion for the things he says and does. His tests are a little difficult (about a 6 out of 10). Make sure to do your readings. He sometimes gives pop quizzes. Bring a camera to one of the field trips and take lots of pics. Use that as a slideshow for the final project.

Good teacher. Seems knowledgeable in Hawaiian Studies. Lectures can get boring though, he doesn't use Power Point and just writes on the board. Attendence is taken, but you might as well go anyway because he gives you most of the important info in his lectures. If I had to take the class again I would take his.
