Professor Matthews is the best!!!! I can't believe she is leaving SHU. I don't think I would have stayed at SHU without her. I'm glad I'm in my senior year and only have one year left without her. Somehow her classes are actually fun, but you learn more than you do in other classes.

A small project due at the end of every week but it is manageable. Never taken a computer class and I did well in this while learning some cool stuff. She os very responsive if you ned help. Met with there 3 times during the semester for different issues.

Very engaging, looser classroom environment while still keeping control, very personable. A very active class, where she had us do programming exercises every class period, which were very helpful for learning this stuff.

Professor Matthews is a great teacher. If you show up, do your work, you're pretty much set. Tests require a little bit of thinking, but overall, she's an awesome teacher. I would take her again. Plus she's hot!!

Awesome teacher, makes sure that you understand what she's teaching you. It's essential to do the homework to pass any of her courses, but she always makes time to hep if you don't understand anything. The tests are straightforward and its obvious she knows what she's doing.

She is an amazing teacher! Extremely helpful and very nice. You will love going to class each day. She is very big on homework, so make sure you do the work (HW is usually about 30% of your grade). Also, tests are fairly simple. Just make sure you study, and it is not difficult to receive an A. Definitely take her!

Best Professor I've had!!! I've taken a number of her classes and she is always clear and interesting - even when the topic isn't. She expects a lot on exams and projects, but you learn a lot if you put in the time. She's willing to help and really knows her stuff.

Tons of notes & info to remember but it's actually interesting & makes sense. She is very down to earth but she'll challenge you. Overall, good prof./good class. But watch out if you're a CT/MS major w/ a Mac laptop. She forgets & doesn't take into consideration that we can't use Windows progs.
