Comment:

She's a decent prof and the class is quite easy. The lectures were quite heavy and she went over the material very fast. Know the textbook - read before class. The group assignments were easy but the test was pretty tough - expected to know material not at all emphasized in class or on the review. Not a great class but relatively easy.

Lectures were VERY difficult to follow and she went through slides very fast. Be prepared to read the text to understand the course. She takes her lectures straight from the textbook only skimming over certain points. Group homework requires the use of the textbook also.

Material from class isn't tested, just one test based on certain textbook chapters. Group project and paper are the bulk of your mark. Marks easier than average, but not a gimmie course. Semi-mandatory attendance as she does take attendance sometimes. But for the purpose of material and doing well, you don't need to be in class.

You don't need to go to class at all. Just read the text, her powerpoints are useless. She forces group activities, which no one does because no one cares. She screwed up on one of our exams this year and didn't ask the students what we would like done about it. She's very boring and will ask questions even if you don't raise your hand.

I really liked this class. The material you learn is pretty interesting. Everything is from the text though so its kind of boring at times. I find that going to class was really helpful because she has everything from the text thats important to know on the slides and she explains everything better so you have a better understanding.

You dont need to go to class. All testing material is right from the textbook. Can be harsh and she forces alot of group activity. Classes are quite pointless as she is very vague and boring sometimes. Not very clear on what she wants in assignments...only what she doesnt want! Exam was pretty good as long as you know the material on it.

her teaching style was very lame. lame in terms of most proffessors who earn more than enough and condescending to her students. you also learn more from the text book than you do from her. most of her lectures do not correspond to the questions in the tests. she also picks on people when no one wants to put up their hand to answer her questions.

The class is based entirely on the text. The text reads like an assembly manual. The multiple choice quesions on the test are often ambigious. NO FEED BACK on grades. Forget what you already know, If it contradicts the text you are wrong. Professor has a bit of a problem coming down to students level and is a bit defensive.

The biggest plus here is that you honest to god don't need to go to class. All she does is review the chapter so if you don't understand something (not possible) you can go to class if you want. The tests are COMPLETELY based on the text, the material is NOT hard and she is an alright teacher, a nice lady I'm sure. I would reccomend her definitely.
