Through Dr. Davis's influence, i've discovered more about myself and my sense of value than i ever thought possible.He can be hard. Sometimes he can make you so frustrated, confused, and unsure of what you were once so sure that u think ur going to explode. But, he's always there to help u through it, with a kind smile and helpful suggestions.

Prof. Davis expects much from his students,if you expect to go into his class & do nothing for an "A"-forget it. He makes you work for your grade. I am glad i took his class he taught me all i need to write any paper from now on. He is always there to help by e-mail or in person but won't give you the answer, he makes you think about it.

Some of the people above are correct, he will tell you how he wants it to be, but the other thing they are laeving out is that you don't have to listen to him. He loves a good argument. I personaly really liked Dr.Davis. If you have a good secenc of humor and an open mind go with him, if not then find someone dry and broing.

Dr. Davis is the kind of teacher you have to get to know on your own time. He is a very smart person. Yes he is opinionated, but at the same time if he gets to be to overbearing all you have to do is not listen. I really like Dr. Davis, he is one of my favorite teachers at Ada, just make sure you can keep up with him, or you WILL hate him

I found Dr. Davis to be arrogant and annoying. He can't handle anyone disagreeing with him, and he is horribly rude and condescending. I would NOT recommend him. He can be quite unfair, and he absolutely picks favorites.

I agree with the last rater. He HATES to have anyone disagree with his view. Only one person in class really would, and Davis always disregarded his views. At least the student had guts, and experiance in the REAL world

A really great prof. Davis is head of the writing center so he requires most of the papers you write to go through it. He expects a lot of group/class participation and he is VERY helpful in conferences. He takes the time to get to know you and your work.
