You will not be disappointed if you take any class with Professor Derr. He keeps everything interesting and is hilarious. He sincerely cares about the success of all of his students. He is much more concerned with students learning the material than adhering to strict guidelines and due dates. I learn the most in his classes, and also retain it.

Professor Derr is Penn College's best teacher hands down. He is incredibly intelligent but never talks down to his students. He makes even the most boring information easy to understand. Even three hour night classes with him are easy because he is always cracking jokes to keep everyone interested

Derr is great. I reccommend taking his courses. He's the best prof i've ever had. He doesnt care about attendence but if you show up he's easy to pay attention to and you'll remember what is said because he relates it to real life.
