I already knew Latin coming into this class, only took it for my minor. At no point was I certain that Jiri even knew Latin. His responses to student questions were vague, incoherent, and often actually incorrect! I tutored appx. half the class to get them to pass. Toga party at his house: completely inappropriate. Good riddance.

Great guy, really fun class, but I didn't learn enough Latin to feel comfortable with it. I loved this class, though, and Tucker is just fun. It's too bad he's gone...but I bet the CGEP students will benefit more from his teaching.

Hot, Hot, Hot and Gorgeous! Hard to concentrate sometimes, because the mind wanders to other, more interesting and exciting thoughts about him. All in all though, the class was helpful, and I learned alot of Latin. Good base class, would recommend it if continueing in any other language.

A lot of grammar concentration. Would have been nice to learn about Ovid (since we read about 59 of his stories!!) and significance of Latin today. I admit Jiri is on the cute-side, but am very curious to know who is having dreams about him?!?
