Nicest professor on campus! He is an absolute treasure. Extremely chill and will go above and beyond to help you understand the material or any other Econ topic. He will even help you with research for other Econ presentations. I wish he offered more classes.

At first the class seems like a piece of cake until you receive your test scores back. At first I thought I just wasn't working hard enough, but even after studying my hardest, my test scores still were not where it was supposed to be. I came to realize that it wasn't just me , but most people in class were having a very hard time. Great guy though

Okay so if you suck at econ, love skipping class, and i think you're going to fail his class. JUST POWER THROUGH. Go to his office hours even if he doesn't help you because he will PASS YOU. I had an F the entire semester but ending with a C. I was so tempted to drop the class and I'm glad i did not. He's one of the nicest teachers i've had though.

Great Teacher! Always willing to answer your questions. People in class were struggling so he offered an extra credit opportunity that had the weight of a test!! I recommend!

People either love him or hate him. If you have any interest in econ and you're willing to work hard, even if you have no background in it you can do well. He encourages questions and is patient answering them, though occasionally seems annoyed. His was my favorite class this semester.

I am not an economics major, but I thought he was an excellent teacher. It is not too hard to pull off an A in the course if you study a little. He is definitely worth taking!

TERRIBLE TEACHER. his homework made it seem like the class was easy and then you get his test and have no idea what is going on. his tests are 100 times harder than any of the work done in class. he does not prepare his students well for test. you will fall asleep in the class because he is the dullest teacher there. one of the worst teachers

I enjoyed ECON 102 with Dr. Forbes. This was my first economics course, and I thought he explained concepts clearly. He does give pop quizzes so you need to come to class prepared. In addition, his tests are a measure of your understanding of the material, not just memorization. To summarize, his class can be challenging, but it is worth taking.

Going to class is a waste of time, he cannot explain anything. He is extremely unhelpful if you go to him-he acts annoyed if you do not understand something. He is very pretentious and has favorites-he hates most everyone in the class

By far the worst teacher I have ever had. I have learned nothing from this class. He could give a crap about the classes performance. Had it not been for the very helpful TA, I would be failing even more. If you are not an ECON major and you want to pass this class, you'd better start praying now.

Go to class, take notes, and study. he usually gives a practice exam which is the same one he will use on the actual exam. with that in mind, he does grade a lot harder though.

Solid teacher who constantly repeated and went over material for everyone in the class. Tests were based off of the practice tests. As long as you come to class, do your work, and aren't an idiot you'll wind up with an A or B.

Great professor. He even talks loud to keep you awake and interested. Seriously, he is very clear and explains things very well. I had him 10 years ago and I still remember the bulk of what was covered in class.
