Dr. Oberg is a great professor who truly cares about his students. I advise you to go see him during his office hours if you do not understand something because he will be more than helpful. I took the elementary education math courses with him, and they were hard, but I definitely learned a lot.

This teacher is horrible because anytime you ask him a question, he hasn't even thought of the problem himself. Then finally two days later he has looked at it and that is the day you have to turn it in. What help right? HE CANNOT TEACH!

He is a great teacher. You will learn in his class and if you have any problems he will assist you. He does require detail with your homework, he wants to see your work so that he can figure out what you did wrong. If you show your work you will get partial credit for it, even if the final answer is wrong. If you don't show your work he won't know if you did it right.

Sheesh, it takes him 15 minutes to explain a particular detail of a problem! Teaches straight from the book, has a set rubric and by golly, even a set of colored chalk. Wants toooo much explanation in homework and tests, so if you're naturally elaborate then good for you. He's all right though.
