Dr. Moore is such a lovely person. He is incredibly talented and has many valuable and knowledgable ideas to offer to his students. I don't think he is the best at explaining things thoroughly though.

Dr. Moore is in and of himself a reason to consider the OCC music department. I can't speak for his piano instruction, but what I learned from his theory and composition instruction remains the most valuable, working knowledge I've ever gotten from a music professor. I learned more from him than any other professor in any subject, ever.

Awesome teacher! I will remember him for the rest of my career He will always make time to help any student and will find a way to help them understand. He knows more then any one person should be able to retain about music/law. He also gives out some free legal advise when needed. All around best teacher EVER! NO TEXT BOOK!!!

Dr Moore is the man. He is very knowledgeable and interesting to listen to although he tends to ramble off topic from time to time. From what I gather, the people leaving bad comments are the ones who don't want to take the time to know their teachers or ended up with bad grades. Seems like sour grapes.

Dr. Moore is a brilliant man and a highly skilled pianist. However, I wouldn't take lessons from him if you're very serious. He didn't offer me a lot of advice on how to improve and he often got side-tracked during lessons. It hasn't been a total waste, though, and I have learned from him. Very nice guy.
