He was a great teacher, and kinda cute in his hippy way. Walks around campus were great, especially in the summer class. This was the most intersting class I ever took. I would choose it as a profession if there were higher paid jobs for it out there. I didnt buy the book and I did great, but I have a natural love for how the earth works.

This class is hot for non-science majors. Science is not my thing, however, Mr. Norton's passion for geology was quite contagious. I never thought that a science class could be so interesting and exciting. He always went above and beyond making sure you understood the material.

For the most part, I really enjoyed this class. I've always been interested in the information that we went over, but he made it way too difficult at times. He tried using too much chemistry and stuff. He was always please with a C average, and that always bothered me.

Mr. Norton is hott. Take this class, it is an easy natural science class. Tests are a little hard, but he makes them group style so it does help your grade. Labs help your grade too.

Norton teaches the most interesting, information-packed class I've taken. This guy knows his stuff, and has no problem explaining things clearly. Great sense of humor, very nice, extremely accommodating, energetic, and totally reasonable. Be careful though - that first test will catch you off guard.
