Awesome professor, he gives you a lot of information that's useful and can apply instantly. Grades are a combination of group work, and independent work. Groups are big, so the work load is divided with not too much work each. Group quizzes overall help your grades. Book is necessary, but less than 20 bucks if you skip the school store.

Wooten is an awesome teacher! He is very kind and will work with you if you need the help. I had his class once a week and we had a quiz every class over the chapter we had the entire previous week to read. I was blessed with a good group so our weekly group assignments were a breeze along with the group quizzes. Easy A if you put a bit of work

He is a good professor, however, there is a lot of work/writing in this class. The reading per week is between 40-200 pages with weekly quizzes, case studies, a group project and a final. Takes him a while to give feedback. NOTE: If you are taking more than 2 classes, your organization/ time management skills will be tested.

He is a great professor. He cares about his students and he forms his assignments around making the students grow in their own and a management kind of way. It is based on working in groups but each person must play their part. I would take him again!

Amazing professor! He'll make you work for it, but you'll learn A LOT! Weekly group projects, I didn't love it, but the assignments really help you understand the concepts you're studying. He's really well organized and responds to emails very quickly. Takes awhile to get grades back, but he gives great feedback. I'd definitely take him again!!

Mandatory group meetings, there are unclear multiple group assignments weekly, the quizzes are very hard even with reading all the material, the multiple folders on blackboard are labeled in a confusing manner, lots of busy work not pertaining to human resources management. Majority of the course grade focuses on group work and group skills.

TONS of reading every week and you pay for 2 full sized textbooks. Some weeks you read 100 pages. Teamwork every week, one assignment is 5-7 pages in lenght, one is 1-2 pages in length. He is unorganized. The syllabus does not correspond to the weekly module content, so you try to figure out what is due when. This class was very time consuming

We used two textbooks, you will read twice as much. The comprehensive final 4hrs in essay form. Prof. Wooten is nice and accessible. Like it's already mentioned here, 9 out of 10 times a question on the weekly quiz will be graded wrong. Weekly team assignments. Team website project. Overall, I think it was too much work, but I did learn from it.

This class is certainly not an "easy A" but it is definitely doable! Every week you have 1-3 ch's to read and take a quiz over (my lowest grade was an 84- mostly 90+). Group cases due almost every week but divide them and you'll be fine. The worst part is the 30 pg project. Time consuming but NOT HARD. Wooten is great, but you have to work for it!

His printout material about expectations/deadlines does not match the BB expectation/deadlines. Unrealistic time allowed for quizzes; then you have to protest at least one question because the questions or answers are written incorrectly. Tons of reading with repetitiveness. Lengthy return on grades for papers. One of my least favorite professors.

I did not find the material in this class to be all that difficult. However, the workload is higher than expected. Dr. Wooten was a good professor, helpful and responsive. Would take him again.

Online class. Weekly work seems reasonable enough, case studies and tests. The final projects are usually tough. The projects are usually lengthy, 30 pages, and requires tons of work. I think what makes the projects so difficult is that you spend the entire semester basically teaching yourself and then have to complete a huge project. Decent class

Really enjoyed this class. It is alot of work but it's not hard. The text is interesting and if skim and highlight key points, the tests are open book so you can find what you need. Group assignments are due every week which can be hard to keep up with. I would definitely take a class from him again.

Dr.Wooten was very helpful.Too much course work for a short summer course and lot of glitches in the program used. But the professor is very helpful and accommodating. Will take his class again.

Took class online and this guy gives so much work for a class with no meat. Tons and tons of materieal. Yes he cares but unless you have at least 8 hours a week to study and for work don't take him. Can get an A with 8 hours of week to work.
