Comment:

One of the best professors at Messiah College. He presents material very clearly, answers questions thoroughly, and does not sugar coat anything. He has a bit of a type A personality, but is very knowledgable. He will make you work hard for your grade, which results in gaining a real education.

Comment:

Had him for educational psychology, really loved it. Taught well and clearly presented the information, made it interesting as well. Used relevant examples and got the class involved often. Tests were relatively easy. Seemed to really take a personal interest in his students. I recommend!

Zook's edu Pysch class is very difficult and he doesn't follow his own book on the ways to evaluate students. Trust me, I read the Zook Book! Test/quizzes are the only form of grade. plus he can't even recognize his students are outside of the classroom ...poor prof

Very difficult to talk to, not helpful. You have to complete the whole education/ student teacher his way. through buying all his books- found easier ways to write lesson plans that school district want not a 7 page one that makes no sense

impossible tests and very boring subject material. i thought it would be fun but it wasn't. he grades purely on tests and quizzes which are all multiple choice. the class is organized and he is a nice man.

test questions are ambiguous and dont all make sense. class is organized, but he's terrible at answering questions and doesnt listen to them for clarity, so he answers however he wants (even if it has no relation to your question). For being an ed psych prof, he cant teach or test. TAKE PATRICK!
