Miss one class and you are basically lost for the remainder of the semester. Expects you to know everything hes teaching already and gets upset when you dont. I wouldnt recommend. Grade is based on 3 tests and thats it.

Professor Koh is hilarious! Definitely agree with having to adjust, but he means well. Talks about his life as examples in whatever topic we are learning about. Engages you in the class even if you don't want to, but I like that instead of just reading from the book. 3 tests throughout the course that you can have a partner or use your notes for.

He has a personality that takes getting used to. However, he very strongly encourages challenging him, bringing in real-world examples, participation, and not being afraid to speak up. He's a very cool guy. Gives extra credit if participate/challenge him. Grade consists of 3 test. Can use cheat sheet or work with a partner for test. Test tricky.

Teaches very well, makes good connections, extremely smart and knowledgable. Everything makes sense and relates, learn a lot even if you arent a marketing major. Tests hard but gives so many extra credit opportunities.

You are really going to have to adjust to him. He was an okay professor but you NEED to put in the time and effort for this class. 3 exams that are 50 MC, he might let you have a notecard or partner as the exams get more difficult. Not gonna lie, there were many times I thought about dropping the course, would recommend others before taking him.

He is a character. He is a great teacher class is never boring. He does go through material quick but makes sures everyone is following along. Has a language barrier but easy to understand. He has a different method of teaching which is not the boring type. But you have to take good notes and follow along to pass. Would highly recommend!

Don't take his class unless it's fundamentals of Marketing, His class is ridiculous, he has an absurd amount of acronyms he wants you to memorize and most of it had little to do with the basis of the class. Very Entertaining but it's doesn't equate to him being a good teacher. Proceed with caution!

Professor Koh is very knowledgeable and genuine. He wants students to learn. He uses a shock and awe type of learning to make students think outside of the box. He will help students that requests his assistance. I would take this professor again.

I personally loved Koh's class, I learned more in his service marketing class than any other marketing class I've took at CCSU. His material is very useful and can help you in the marketing field, "real world" materials! take his class you wont regret it! If you're lazy and don't come to class you won't past.

Okay Khoon is a really cool guy however he goes on and on about these stories. I have to say half the class is him ranting on and on about unnecessary stuff and his excuse is "Marketing is everything, Everything is marketing" which is true but come on he should be teaching the class. His test are ridiculous when he is teaching this way.

Very funny guy, engages the class well. The tests are very tricky. Attendance is very helpful come test time since he slips in answers to test questions randomly during the lectures. Go in with an open mind to this class and you will enjoy.

Koh is a great professor. He is crazy but inspiring. He truly cares about teaching and wants you to actually learn something. You get out what you put in! If you do all of the extra credit and put in time on each project you will do well.

I wouldn't recommend taking his 3 hour class because it's super boring. His tests are really tricky but will let you earn points back. He offers extra credit but the assignments are very vague and never tells you what he expects. He allows a cheat sheet on the test but it's really tricky. He is a funny guy but the class is really long/boring.

Best professor at central by far. He is absolutely hilarious and makes you actually want to come to class. He explains everything to the T and makes it fun to learn! His tests aren't hard if you come to class and ask questions along with doing your weekly readings. I would absolutely take him again!

The tests are there to make you think and he will try to trick you. If you get tricked, you obviously didn't know the subject right? He is always available, he will be there early or late for his students. Hilariously funny lectures with edutainment. If you aren't a better person after a class with Khoon Koh, you failed yourself. Great Professor.

Professor Koh is amazing, never a dull moment! He makes class fun, but also gets to the point and teaches you a lot; not only marketing, he promotes learning about the world around us. If you have no sense of humor I would suggest staying away. I wish I could take him again, highly recommended!

Great professor! If you don't like a crude sense of humor..DON'T TAKE THE CLASS! you will just ruin the fun for everybody else. Tells great stories that relate to marketing. The biggest difficulty is that he doesn't teach by the book, so take good notes for the exams! Accent is thick but he continuously makes sure people are understanding him.

You would be a fool not to take him. Despite being tenured he works hard for you to succeed. Accent is thick but he will spell out words if he thinks you don’t understand, so it’s no excuse for a bad grade. Multiple choice tests, LOTS of extra credit, & lectures >> Textbook. Not a run-of-the-mill professor, he’ll engage you unlike the rest of them.

Awesome teacher!! Hilarious man too. He knows his topics very well and has many great stories. It was a pleasure taking his class and I'm disappointed I won't be able to take more with him. Highly recommended!!
