Worst class of my academic career. Hes a Horrible Prof, nothing is clarified and doesn't provide help to his students. Took his class online he uses examples from the notes as hw questions so you just have to copy paste the answers. 2 quizzes and 2 exams provides practice tests and uses a majority of the questions on the exams. Avoid if you can.

One of the worst profs to teach an intro class, no wonder there aren't any econ majors, might be helpful in the harder classes, but did not help you at all, vague practice tests, gave hundreds of slides packed with more information than you could possibly ever retain TAKE DOGBEY but make sure they don't switch him out like they did to our class

You really have to want to learn when you take this class. He can be mean at times but as long as you study the lecture notes he gives you you should do well. The practice tests make taking the exams really easy too. Overall hes a pretty decent professor.

Took this as an online course, great professor. Read his lecture notes and you'll be fine. His lecture notes make the material 100% easier. The book wasn't very helpful. I recommend taking him for this course.

Exteremly good professor. The course is very well structured but if you follow it you should get a decent grade. However,don't ever take any classes with him unless you want to learn. You also need to be fresh on your math skills as he likes giving problems.

Nice guy. The accent's not bad at all. This class is good for people who already took 103, but I can see how it can be hard if it's your first ECON class. The grade is based entirely on four tests, but he gives really helpful practice tests. If you go to class and study you can get a good grade.

I thought this class was pretty easy. I never bought the book, but still was able to pull of an average of 80 on the tests without studying much at all and hardly ever going to class. Just make sure and study the practice test he gives out before the test and you'll do fine. Also, his accent isn't as bad as the others claim it is.

i found his lectures to be confusing and rushed. you absolutely cannot afford to miss a class because he covers material quickly. practice tests are helpful, but overall he was boring, standoffish, and unhelpful. i missed three days of class (due to surgery) and all he told me was to get the notes from a classmate - he wouldn't answer my questions.

One of the worst classes I have ever taken. He doesn't really care for his students and just rushes to cover material in time for a test, not really taking the time to answer questions and make sure that everyone understands the material. If you aren't willing to teach yourself from the book and don't enjoy econ, avoid him!

Dorrie's class is difficult, especially if you're not interested in econ. However, he's nice and always willing to help. Plus...he's a cutie!
