Dr T has been teaching chemistry for years so her lectures might seem superficial or quick but thats because she expects you to have read the chapters in the book beforehand. If you speak with her one on one she is very approachable, don't expect to be babied or treated like a high schooler.

do not take this professor, you will not know your grade throughout the whole semester because she grades things at the last minute. On multiple occasions we took a test when the other test had not been graded. this made it very hard to go into the final know what grade i needed to pass. her tests are very difficult.

Professor T is a very good lecture teacher. she does not simply put up slides and have you read them but she explains IN DETAIL what the material is along with many examples on how to do them. As long as you show up to class, do the labs, and go over examples in class you'll be fine. The only downside is that she does not hand back labs or tests.

She is a nice lady but you have to get used to her. She can be really laid back some days, but really strict others. She can get side tracked easily. Her tests aren't horribly bad you just need to study and either get a group together or go to a tutor.

Dr. T may seem tough at first, but she is a sweetheart and genuinely cares about her students. The class is not easy, but its fair, and straightforward. Dr. T knows her stuff and will teach you what you need to know, in class. There are no PowerPoint lecture slides, but thats actually a blessing in disguise.

PROS: -You will understand 60% of the material. -No homework nor quizzes CONS: - She does not use canvas nor any technology (SO traditional Whiteboard professor) To get your homework answers and test reviews you must go to the library - Most of her tests are multiple choice (She copy them from quizlet) -No extra credits -Procrastinator and lazy

:/ you gotta really work for the grade you want. all the exams are based off her notes so make sure you have high quality notes. doing the hw is tedious but it will help you A LOT to prepare for exams. you won't know your grade until the very end since she does not give back lab scores and also returns exams weeks later.

Her lectures are relevant to real world situations she's really intimidating and if you write down everything she says in lecture, make sure you rewrite and study those notes for the test also she reserves sample exams in the library which are helpful.

Although Tabibzadeh is a nice person her lectures aren't the greatest. Power points aren't used and her tests can be kinda difficult. Her tests depend heavily on her lectures so pay close attention. Exam 2 is the hardest so beware. Her tests are multiple choice and some free response which sounds easy but heads up conceptual questions are tricky

Dr. T. gets a bad rep for having "hard" exams, but if you put in the time and effort to rewrite your notes and pay attention in lecture, you will do well! Her lecture notes are KEY to get a good grade. She is very clear and straightforward. She can also come off as a bit intimidating sometimes, but is still very helpful.

4 exams + 1 final, slowest grader & never posted grades. Goodbye 4.0. If youre on the path to organic chem, maybe she is better but as an engineering major I feel jipped. An instructor should present the material you need to know, not force one way of learning on everyone. No book, PP, blackboard/ canvas used. Only her in class lecture. Beware.

In college, you're responsible for your work, but the teacher should also give you enough to work with. We use a textbook that she herself says is too confusing and different from how she teaches. She doesn't actually assign you homework (recommendations, but again, different from her test work). She has one way of teaching, with little flexibility

Exams are exactly as her notes. right before the exam my classmates started to read some parts of the notes for the first time and after the exam, they were mad that exam was hard!well you did not read her notes! take good notes read and reread only her notes nothing else. That is all. you will get an A or B easily if you just know her notes.

Professor T is terrible! She is very confusing. This might be because her doctorate is not in chemistry like she would have you believe. Take someone else who knows the material, like Pheasant. She says that all you need to do is study the notes, all her questions come from her notes, but I found exact questions in the book. She reuses exams.

The best professor i've ever met in IVC even though her class is tough. Her lecture is amazing and easy to understand. Just work hard on it, you can still get an A in her class. I really love Chemistry after i took her class in Spring. Good luck everyone!
