Comment:

Don't take Methods with any other professor. She clearly explains everything to where ANYONE could do statistics. She takes a complicated subject & makes it so simple. There is no textbook, only her notes & now she posts lectures online so you can go back & look them over. Mini research paper at the end is a piece of cake as long as you keep up !

Just had Dr. Davies for Methods 2, and she is awesome. There was quite a lot of work, but it's a methods class - she makes the class easy to understand, and allows you to work at pretty much your own pace. I would take any class by Dr. Davies because she is a great professor. If you make less than an A in her class - you are to blame - she rocks

Awesome Class! By far one of my favorite classes so far! Prof is great - wrote the book for class - so she owns this class! Tests are challenging but she gives the questions to you before the test so you can study what you actually need to know. Teaches through movies, real life examples, and real crime stories. Book is actually fun to read - TAKE

Dr. Davies is awesome! She is beyond helpful and is perhaps the greatest asset to Augusta State University. She is strait forward and to the point, but willing to lend a helping hand to any of her students. And she has NO favorites! She equally helps them all! I loved her!

You will not find a better professor at ASU. She actually cares about her students and does everything she can to make sure you fully understand the material. I have taken three classes with her and even though some of the subject matter initially appeared to be boring, she made it interesting. Her tests are easy, but only if you study the mater

Dr. Davies is a terrific professor! It is not that she is 'easy' - it is that she has a great teaching style. She knows her material and is comfortable with it; therefore, you definitely learn it too! You know what to expect from day one; she does not waver, get off topic, or complicate things by adding a bunch of unnecessary material. Bravo!!!

Favorite class, by FAR! She is the best Sociology professor at ASU! Take her for ANY class she offers! She wrote the book for this class, so it was really cool to get her perspective. Gives complete study guide before all the tests--- cant say enough good things about her!!!!!!
