Comment:
Kim Fendley is a Liberal Extremist with no respect for conservative students. She openly censors and insults said students. He style of teaching just simply isn't efficient or built for the success of her students, unclear instructions, scatterbrained, and often times what she says makes no sense, contradicts herself or the book. DO NOT TAKE!!

Comment:
Dr. Fendley is boring and unclear. She'll teach the exact opposite from what the book says but when you show her that she will still argue her point- but all the test and quizzes are taken word for word out of the book, so read don't listen. But you have to show up for class or she will fail you for attendance.

Dr. Fendley is an amazing professor. The key to success in her classes is achieved by reading the assigned material and showing up to class. In class, time isn't spent memorizing "book definitions/topics," but rather clarifying and connecting the concepts as a class for the purpose of elaboration on the exams.

If you miss class and there is something going on that is graded that day, a pop quiz of sorts, she will not let you take it. I missed one day and my grade dropped 10 points. The hybrid class sucks.

Unless you're required to take the class, I recommend NOT taking it. The professor does not appreciate technology or typed notes. The exam questions are out of no-where (out of lecture discussions, out of the textbook). Does not use powerpoint or any form of blackboard notes. She's admitted that this is her style, and she wouldn't change it.

Pay attention in class. Participate in discussions. Read your book. DO the projects in a timely manner and meet all the requirements. If you do this then you will get an A in the class. OH! And show up for the last day of class, and she will answer the final exams questions for you.

3 books - covers all of them. Her exams are not what you discussed in class. 3 exams- one book report. If you're not a good test taker I would not advise this class. I had to work for my "low" B.

Can be a bit scatterbrained, but will always clarify things if you ask. Prefers to teach from real life experiences as opposed to dry vocabulary words and quizes. Expects a lot, but very clear on grading scales, and wants EVERY student to succeed. One of my all time favorite professors

Awful professor. Very unclear with her directions. Disorganized and spacey. Material on tests is not what is covered in class. Drop her class if you can.

totally scatterbrained, teaches irrelevant material in class yet depends entirely on textbook for tests. test questions come straight from the book. dismisses class early way too often (as if to give up for the day) unorganized and unprofessional for a 400 level course. avoid if you can.

Poor teaching style, jumps around too much. What she teaches never matches up with the book. I would not recommend her as a professor.

She is the worst professor I have ever had. She is unclear with everything she talks about. Every definition she has given us we have went back and read our book & it DOES NOT match up. She has no clue what she rambles on about. If you take this course you'll be teaching yourself. Its impossible to understand anything that she teaches.

She is the worst teacher I have ever had. If you use blackboard/internet sites in her class back up your stuff, cause if something is lost while being submitted she will NOT let you resubmit it, even if it was not your fault, but the schools internet browsers.

She is an extremely liberal feminist who will not listen to other opinions. She plays favorites and does not grade fairly. She does offer extra credit for tests, which is nice. Your only hope of getting an A is study HARD for the tests and if you share her opinions. I really wish I did not sign up for this class.
