Comment:

Has lots of knowledge but is not very good at teaching it, she just restates what she knows. Tests are tough because she would say study one source (such as power points) and NOTHING from them were on the test. Lectures are super long and boring and somewhat unnessecary, labs and doing well on lab quizzes (easy) is vital. Sweet woman but not great.

Nice lady, but cannot teach! Lectures are very long and boring and her notes do not help. She says use the PowerPoint lecture notes to study for the exams, that does not help! You ask her for help on how to prepare for exams or practicals , she does not help. She NEVER responds to emails! Good luck if you choose to take her or have to take her!

Comment:

Labs were pretty fun and laid-back, and you can leave when you're finished. Tests were a little rough, and the 3-hour lectures are killer. She never took attendance on the lectures, but don't miss the labs. Having the book helps. She has a lot of knowledge but doesn't really teach, so be prepared to do your own studying.

The only thing that will kill students is the tests. Most people fail because they don't go to her lectures, and I don't blame them. The 3-hour lectures really have no substance to them, except to hear snibbits about what will be on the tests. I did ALL my studying at home, she really doesn't teach her topic; she always shows up 15 minutes late.

This teacher was and is honestly THE WORST TEACHER I have ever had. Take this class if you like surprises, because she says the test is on certain chapters but come the day of the test, there are other ch's on it. She doesn't know what she's doing and I spent class being confused. ALL THE TIME. Do NOT take her. Horrible horrible horrible.

Easyyy class! I failed every single test and got a B (85% to be exact) Just go to every lab and you're good, oh and do ALL extra credit assignments she offers. I would have totally gotten an A if i studied. She wasn't a bad teach either, she was pretty cool and I liked her sense of humor :)

Nice class, you will get a good grade if you do the work which isn't too much and study. Her blackboard is VERY useful in this class!! Take the practice quizzes on her blackboard before exams and review the power points.

Took class last semester as prerequisite to microbiology. Excellent class. Take good notes during lecture, that's what most of the exams are based on. Read textbook as backup for clarity on lecture notes. Jesu made the info interesting and fun. Got an A while working part time, wife, and mother of two kids under 6 yrs old. I passed, you can too.

Well this class was pretty much a waste of time. Technically, attendance was mandatory, but I stopped going for non-test periods and even labs half-way through. Never studied, and slept through all lectures. Her tests were easy, and from what I heard in the first letures I DID listen to, her information was worthless. Take this for an easy pass.

WORST class I've ever taken. She might be real smart and knowledgable at what she does, but she does not share that with her students. I ended up dropping the class. Her test are super hard, she doesn't prepare you enough and expect you to memorize EVERYTHING and every resource available just for her tests.Maybe if you were SUPERHUMAN!DO NOT TAKE!!

First off she was always at least 15-20 minutes late to each class. Our class had 45 minutes to complete our final because she was so late. She's a nice lady, but a not a good teacher. Her lectures are very unclear as well as what is going to be on the tests. Test are difficult. A lot of extra credit to make up for tests.

Very easy to get an A or B in this class! She is a good teacher and wants to see her students do well. She's nice and helpful. Her study guides really help. She gives a lot of extra credit and plenty of opportunities for you to get a good grade or to raise your grade. I highly recommend her class.

I found her class to be rather unstructured and the tests very difficult even though she gave us a study guide. I also know that the rest of my class was averaging a "C" and that only one person really passed her second test. I ended up dropping it due to the lack of structure and my complete lack of interest in the subject.

Professor Jesu is great, she is always willing to help you. she is funny and makes the learning process much easier and fun. her labs are a great way to learn to, i learned alot of stuff i didnt know before. if you take biology, definitely tak professor jesu! ^___^

I took Jesu for Bio 100 during the summer, and it was easy! She is hilarious and she's always willing to help! Everything on her tests are from her lectures. She gives extra credit so its impossible to not pass. Definitely take Jesu. Shes the best!

I took Ms Jesu for Bio 100 during the summer, and it was easy and painless. She is funny and she's always willing to help. Her tests ABSOLUTELY reflect her lectures. She also offers 50 points in extra credit. She wants to see her students do well and I'd definitely recommend her.
