Save all of your work,even stuff that is not graded!You put together a portfolio for the semester and will need it.Class gives lots of busy work and is sometimes unorganized but is very useful and I learned lots about business type writing.She is very compassionate and will help any way that she can.I would certainly advise this professor!

Dr. Murray is the best professor ever! Very enthusiastic and caring, and always willing to help. One tip: check blackboard often. She didn't always remind us in class of the hw, but updated it there. But I really don't have any complaints. You'll come out of her class feeling like you learned sooooo much! I'd definitely take a class with her again.

She and her TA were unclear about some things but they quickly fixed any issues. There is a lot of reading and "busy" type work, but its interesting material. If you don't mind not having a strict structure class, then you will like it. 2 papers (2000wds), 4 quizes, 5+ online posts and a final.

Amazing teacher! Take her class. Comp 2 isn't very exciting at all but you have to take it and there's no getting around it. She is so helpful and understanding and really gets to know all her students!

Murray is a great teacher. She gave monotonous homework, but she genuinely cared about her students. Not always clear w/ assignment. She's a tough grader when it comes to papers, but easy with blogs and late assignments. She takes time for her students and that is very helpful. One comment said you'll walk away with her as a friend and its true!

Such a sweet and open person who is understanding, encouraging and very personal. She made the class interesting, even though it wasn't very focused which was a little frustrating. Has a very cute dog. Take any of her classes and you have a new friend!
