Dr. Fahey is the man! Although his class can be boring sometimes, I love his stories. He attempted to connect with his students (making sure to learn all of our names). I would definetly take another class with the man, the myth, the legend Dr. David M. Fahey.

Comment:

Fahey's a great guy. He loves teaching and can be a funny guy sometimes. Unfortunately, he is extremely boring to listen to. In a 300 person class only 30-50 people showed up, and it's not necessary to be there, but the class is easy, though don't expect to learn much. I'm still a fan of Fahey though, and I would have preferred a smaller class.

Oh pah-lease people! Fahey is out of this world (in more than one way). If he weren't teaching, I'd say he should do stand-up. He says some outrageous, though hysterical things. It's history after all... how riveting do you expect it? Plus he basically gives out A's like candy at Halloween. He may have some foibles, but he's a great guy and prof.

Lecture is the most boring I have ever experienced. He is very monotone and technologically ignorant but in person he is one of the nicest professors I have come across. Tests are simple. Take him for an easy A but not for a good time =]

this guy redefines the need for an ipod, a cell phone or a laptop, ive never been this uninterested in a lecture before, he opened my eyes to how bad a lecture class can be as well as how glad i should have been for my other classes, this class helped me to understand how suicidal people and dropouts come up with their motives, im heartbroken that

david is a good guy but he is waaayyy past his prime. i'm sure he was good at giving lectures 40 years ago but his delivery is just too slow and jumbled. exams are easy and you should walk away with an A. but at the same time i wouldn't recommend him if you were actually interested in learning something.

he wears the same outfit EVERDAY. not that that matters... but he is sooooo boring... he takes forever to say one sentence and by the time he's finished it, you can't remember what he said in the beginning. he slurs his s's... hard to understand sometimes. tests are random... 20 mult. choice questions from 7 chapters.... pointless reading.

The Tests were Cake, and I was within a few points of acing the class. Don't let all the detail in the book scare you (as it did me) and focus on the lecture notes and his comments in class. That the test. If you know anything about or a interested in history, this class is a breeze. But This guy has a delievery as dry as Death Valley, be warned.

soooo boring, can't even figure out how to work the overhead. Only mid-term and a final. Lectures are torture, out of 350 only about 70 people came and 50 would fall asleep. spare yourself

Fahey is a very intelligent, very nice man who tries his hardest to facilitate discussion. Others may not appreciate his teaching style, which is the standard lecture format. Lectures suffer from lack of voice inflection, but what a wry sense of humour!
