The course requires a lot of writing, but the writing assignments aren't hard. You have a two paragraph weekly article summary, and three 4-6pg papers. Follow her writing guidelines exactly and you won't have a problem with "difficult grading". She gives additional points if you visit her office hrs and see's you're interested in the material.

This class requires a lot of work. It is not that hard but she will make you work for that A. A lot of reading and writing involved. If you are ready to put in A LOT of work take this class. Pretty interesting topics and you will learn a lot from this class.Tough grader!!

She goes slow the beginning of lecture and then realizes she has 15 min left and rushes through the rest. It gets harder to understand towards the end of class and tests are pretty difficult.TA office hours definitely saved my life. Nice teacher but kind of hard to understand

She talks a bit fast, but she puts up notes online for you to print so you can fill it in as she goes. Tests are okay, not too easy and not too hard. A lot of graphing in this class!

Good Professor who was extremely intense about subject material. Clear and easy to understand. TA's told us exactly what was on the tests. Hard for 8:00 in the morning though.

Professor Neuhauser makes you work to get an A in her class. You have to study the book, her lecture notes, and Aplia. the Curve is O.k. but not anything crazy. Doing well in this class is essential for economic majors. Get an A like i did and be stoked.

8 o clock class is not a good idea. the class is NOT and easy A. you really need to read and understand lecture. she curves but you will get the grade you deserve. 2 midterms and a final (cumulative). The TA's are really helpful, practically giving away answers. If I could do it over again, i would go to discussions

She is one of the best econ teachers I've had.She gets to the point&makes all her examples clear. She wants you to succeed in the course. If you UNDERSTAND the book, you'll perform well on the midterms&final. Make sure you know how to do the hw at the end of each chapter.

lecture not mandatory but GO. take good notes (print them online) she gives you half of the notes online and you fill in the blanks in lec. TALKS SO FREAKIN FASt. But she's pretty straight foward. tests are a bit tricky, requires some creative thinking. (she makes sure you know the material, not just memorize) pretty nice person and helpful.

You have to go to lecture, most of her tests are based off her notes. Lectures arent that boring unless you have em at at 8 TuesThurs. The book is useful for some, i barely used it. The homework system is crap, but it was only 10% of the grade. Tests arent really hard if you go to lecture and understand the concepts. Discussion is useless, dont go.

This is not a class that you can skip lecture and read the book. She adds a lot of her own insight to the material and it ends up on the test. Her tests are long and require thought. Short answer problems are based off of problems assigned from the book. Her final wasn't too bad since the TA told us what to study at the review. Be prepared to work!

Go to lecture, go to lecture, go to lecture! She gives Word-format notes to print ahead of time, and you fill in stuff during class. Very commanding voice that makes you listen, even if you're sleepy. She's more about informing you for life-long choices than confusing you with economic terms. Great teacher, huge passion. STUDY LOTS, huge curve tho.

Likes graphs in notes and ON TESTS!!!! Very clear about what material will be tested, generous curve. Teaches well, you'll learn a lot of econ, tests are almost always made of questions straight out of the book. Aplia is no fun.

she knows what shes talking about. her notes are fairly clear, but her exams do not over lecture material. do the problems in the back of the book and you will do fine. go to class and read the book. overall, a good professor.
