Great professor! Very approachable and goes out of her way to accommodate for her students. There is no question what material is going to be covered on quizzes or exams. Everything can be negotiated in her class- extra credit, quiz attempts, cheat sheet length for tests. Really enjoyed her class.

Easy environment for learning. Will have to learn concepts on own, but teacher clarifies in the lectures, so if you do your homework you will do well. Teacher was very helpful and class went by surprisingly fast.

Great teacher. Teaches a tough, technical class. Be sure to read the whole book for test questions and take book site on-line quizzes. Lab are easy and softly graded. Awards points for attendence and gives extra credit points. Discussion skills and computer skills needed. Is very lenient in grading. Class not is for causal students.

I took her several years ago and wish that I had learned more from her class. The same is true from her Econ class. I thought that it was good back then but now that I am in the MBA program I learned that I didn't learn enough to get me through more advanced classes.

Dr. Merritt was initially educated in Economics even though her doctarate is in MIS. She is a very fair instructor and is ALWAYS there to help. In fact she is proably the best instructor in the Cameron School of Business. It is just that you have to study in her class to pass it.

Dr. Merritt is a very good professor. She is extremely nice and helpful and she explains things very well. Her tests are a little bit challenging if you don't spend a lot of time studying.
