Comment:
This class is required for all Communication students, however it is a complete waste of time. His tests are exactly his notes. He will not understand your questions, better off asking the stoner at the back table. He's really nice but not the best professor. This class was so easy BUT his ethics class is hell. Attendance is strict. VERY STRICT!!!

I think he is one of the easiest teachers in the COM department (besides Hill). You have to go to class. If you don't he will call you out during roll. His tests come directly from his notes. Just go through your notes and make flash cards out of everything and you will get an A. It isn't hard at all. He really isn't that hard to understand either.

He is the worst the department has to offer, and he's up there with the worst at the university. He is one of these types who is out to fail students, yet he has no clue what he is teaching himself. Completely useless when it comes to help with any question or situation. The only good thing he's done at JSU is get our department accredited.

Sad that the head of the Department of Communication does not know how to communicate, let alone speak a grammatically-correct sentence in English. Instructions and grading methods are very vague; never in his office for help; gets angered when class questions his instructions or grading methods. Do not take this man.

Lectures are all completely out of the textbook. He gets stuck on examples that are needless and self-explanatory. Extremely boring, but the tests are pretty easy if you study.

Terrible class. He justs makes stuff as he goes, is very inaccessible and not helpful at all. Not clear on grading methods. Avoid if at all possible

Department Head since spring 2002 - his classes are fairly easy. The only problems that I encountered were the language barrier (he has a thick accent -from Nigeria) and there's theres a final presentation that has to be researched. Nothin bad otherwise.
