This was a great class. Kirk was a helpful teacher and brought together many image related topics. We did lots of fun projects and while the readings were sometimes tough I'm glad I did most of them. I would recommend taking COMM101 before this class though.

I'm taking photo to finish up my credits and I really wish I hadn't waited so long. The photo program here is awesome. Kirk is probably one of the best teachers I've had since coming to clark.

This was a great class. Kirk was helpful and offered excellent advice and a lot of good information about the techniques we could use, also positive feedback and suggestions. I loved the course and would encourage anyone to study with him!

Only advice he gave people on their photographs all semester: "crop this off" & "burn the corner", and he didn't keep us up to date on our grades so we couldn't improve them. He made a girl in class uncomfortable by the way he spoke(& not explaining how he DIDNT take her nudes for the final crit)

kind of boring class - not what I expected for topics discussed. His lectures can be boring and gives you the impression that he's going to get to a point.. but never does.. Mumbles kind of so that's why he's unclear - sit up front if you can't understand him

Great professor... really connects with the students, and is funny as hell... Really got a great knowledge for photo, and is very helpful with the basics and fine tuning to make you into a good photographer... I will go on to take more photo courses cause of him...
