Kristen is great! I actually enjoyed her lectures, she uses real world examples to explain concepts and always has a good story or two. You learn alot of your 4th amendment rights and is always there two answer your minor legal question. Tests are a little tricky but nothing that can't be handled. Great class, even greater Professor

GREAT TEACHER! Best I've had so far at Iowa. You will know the material when you're done. Tests are very fair, and her lectures are fun and enjoyable. Always available for questions, concerns after class. I'd recommend her in a heart beat.

Great professor. She used real life situations as examples for class material. Pay attention to those examples they are always on the tests. The tests are not very hard but you do have to know the specifics of the material. The papers and projects were all graded easily(First paper had a 88 average). Don't print notes, write your own from lecture

Professor Frey has to be one of the best teachers I have ever had. I always leave her class feeling like I should just go and apply for Law School. Thank god that feeling wears off -- usually when I take the tests. But hey, that's the kind of inspiration good teachers are supposed to instill.

Law-Highly recommended, easy lecture to attend, test questions are very similar to examples given right in test, final was difficult and cure was i believe only 4-5 percent.

An excellent teacher! Fun lectures where you will actually learn some things, which is good because you will do terrible in this class if you don't come to lecture. Don't buy the $150 book, you will never open it since the tests are on the lectures anyway. The final is brutal, so study hard! The class has a pretty decent curve.

she's a very good teacher. relates almost all concepts in ways that are easy to understand, and a lot of times relates back to her experiences in her practice, and makes class enjoyable. paper topic was a little vague, but tests were pretty fair (make sure do practice tests).

I'm now in the 2nd semester of my junior year and Kirsten Frey is ABSOLUTELY the best professor I've ever had at the University. The class is fun too - she loves to teach. TAKE IT WITH HER IF POSSIBLE!
