I totally love this teacher. though kind of opinionated, he knows his stuff. Highly intellectual, and a bit intimidating, though. But his class was very easy, gave lots of quizzes, so u have to attend all classes, tests werent so easy because of the strange african concepts, but u can still pull out a B because of the generous grading scale.

his tests are somewhat easy, i didn't really study for any of them, and i came out of the class with a B. He teaches his class from a perspective that many people are unfamiliar with, thats why so many people like to say he is prejudice. He is NOT PREJUDICE, HE IS HONEST!!!!

Very arrogant and prejudice. Unhelpful in every aspect and wastes your time and money. The subject idea is GREAT, but with him teaching it you will come to loathe every minute.

He is very oppinionated but can also be very offensive. I don't like the way he categorizes African-Americans and makes it seem as though all white ppl are devils. Would NOT take this class again unless paid 4 it.

He seems to have a ostensible sense of humor. The community mindset is emphasized in his classes. He teaches the wrongs and backwardness of European colonialism in Africa. I think that is outdated. Apears slow with a profound African accent, but can be highly intellecual and fast on his feet in a personal discussion.

His a pleasant old man. I'd say he is a decent teacher. The TA grades most of the quiz's and exams so I can't sweat him for that. He has a heavy African accent but it can be understood if you try. Just take a lot of notes and study 2-4 hours before the exam and you should do good.

opinionated man. the quiz given in class are extremely easy. the wordings of the test question make it impossible to get an A,but it not the professor's fault because the TA makes the exam. So the grade depends on the TA. A Friend took the class before w/ a differen TA and it was easy. sucked for me

His accent is so hard to get use to, it took me almost 5 weeks before i started to understand the words coming out of his mouth, his stories are funny but if you are taking this class for an ALAMEA or elective dont. quizes are so easy but tests are very detailed!

I thought my African Culture and Society class was one of the best classes I've taken...it was a subject I was oblivious to and he presented it in a clear, entertaining fashion. Tests are easy--just memorize the notes (good for short term memory!)

he may be offensive to some people but to me he was funny and tells it like it is! you have to buy your books at "Books for thought" not the USF bookstore. not the easiest class i took but i'm glad my friends were suffering right alongside me.
