People are saying Prof M is mean and criticizes WCU and its students...he doesn't do any of that. He's extremely intelligent and very knowledgeable concerning the material. All you have to do is read the book, and it's all very interesting. Just read and do the questions; otherwise, his humor is dry and funny. Overall, a great lecture.

The comments about him being difficult are definitely the truth. He is. But, if you attend class and participate, he will love you. He is extremely knowledgeable and accomplished, and if you love literature, very interesting. Just be prepared to work for your grade. And he really isn't evil he just expects respect, which to be honest, he deserves

This angry man has no business teaching. If you kiss butt, you will be fine. Otherwise, expect to be bored! If you like to be talked at- this is the class for you. Do NOT take this professor! He will make the class as boring as possible, does not care if you have a legit reason for missing class - he'll still punish you for it! Was NOT helpful, everytime I asked for help, he never showed up to his office hours! This class ruined my GPA - and I'm only a freshman!

This guy kinda sucks. He told my class the first day that he picks favorites and he does. He grades papers really tough because he and his wife are big on research and book writing. If you can avoid him if not talk liberally about politics and you'll be on his good side.

This professor is so boring that he actually had to threaten the class to pay attention or else he'd lower our grades. "I can manipulate the numbers." If you were interested in ancient Greece before you took his class, you won't be afterwards. Tests easy. All he wants is fluid writing. Useless.

ehhh... it's okay. The material is interesting, but he doesn't teach in the most effective way. He rambles, doesn't encourage participation and cuts up students' writing like none other. I took it as a 3 hour class, and never got breaks.

Myrsaides is an easy teacher. All you have to do is attend class and take notes. Tests are hard if you don't study the notes word for word, but overall the class is really easy and Kostas is a nice person and smart teacher.
