I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews! I took PEAK 430 online, and it was very clear what assignments were and when they were due. It was a lot of busy work, but nothing too hard. When two of my assignments didn't get submitted correctly she let me redo them which was awesome! I would recommend this class.

She taught her class in a hybrid format. Class was MWF and she made her online days on Wednesdays (pretty annoying). She's department chair and she almost always cancels class due to a conferences or meetings. Her online quizzes are easy, just read. Group projects are somewhat heavily weighted. Pretty easy going class.

The course itself was pretty easy, very simple material. This was my first online class and I informed the professor via email but she showed little interest in helping me understand how the online class system worked. The weekly assignments are tedious and nothing but busy work. All the weight is on the final which makes everything else pointless.

You don't have to use a book for this class, however Prof. Grappendorf makes up for it by providing 3 articles each week and each one is about 10+ pages long... some, if not most of them have graphs and charts as well... its tough and exhausting to have to read/skim through them.

HORRIBLE!!! Very unorganized! Rude and unclear. Gives you extensions on work sometimes but doesnt tell you till after its due. Very unclear on assignements doesnt give you the guidelines till the week before its due.

Good solid teacher. I took a couple of different classes with her and had more points in each class than the class was worth. Easy A's, but most students didn't put forth the effort she expects. Show up for class on time, do all your work, and study for the tests and you will do fine in her class.

Easy online class. Do the reading, answer the questions, take the quizzes, and you've got it. Both final and midterm aren't proctered, multiple choice and you use the book if you're confused. Essay is isn't very long, group presentation takes one week and you can talk to your group online (it's required). Overall, alright class.
