I had Prof. Wilbur for Probability for Applications. He is a sweet guy who cares about his students and never tries to be unfair in quizzes or tests. Just study the lectures well and you'll be fine.

Comment:

This class was ok. The homework was not overly difficult, but was necessary if you want to understand what's going on in class. His tests are more detailed than I would have liked, and the grading on tests is harsh for even the smallest mistakes. Overall, his grading system is fair. Definitely stay on top of the concepts in the class.

Comment:

Has, Maybe, the best office hours in the school, where he basically gives you the homework answer. In class, it's pretty easy to follow what he is dong if you pay attention. Prof. Wilbur is also a very nice teacher and you will learn a lot. One down side is that his homework assignments are long and hard.

Pretty good prof, though his lectures were pretty boring as he just read things from slides and did not really shoe any passion. He was very clear about the grading system and the daily homework was useful. Clarity about the policies and grading was the main strength in this course

Great prof! Very reasonable, explained things well, responded to class feedback, genuinely cared about the students understanding and made stats as little of a drag as possible. Daily homework was very reasonable, but still kept me on top of the work. Grading system very reasonable.

all he did during lecture was click on a mouse and read the slides of his power point. i only went to 3 lectures before realising that i would learn just as much by reading the power points from my computer as i would by going to lecture. i like his grading system though
