I know attendance is important, but if you are 30 seconds late, he locks the door and you cant come in for the entire class. Also, knocks your grade down by 1 letter everyday you miss class. So for example, i had a 94% A, and Aced my FINAL...... I ended up with a D+ in the class because i missed 4 days of class. He has no consideration for anyon

Has no consideration that you have other classes aside from his.He is incredibly critical of your work and honestly makes you feel unintelligent. has the potential to rip apart any work that you present to him. if you are not willing to dedicate tons of time and effort into his class I would not recommend taking his course.

If you like to do boring annoying busy work all the time then this is the class for you. He doesn't seem to take in the fact that students do have other classes to study for. As far as speaking goes he doesn't grade on how you speak but what you have as far as material. A plus or minus depending on who you talk too.

Looks way into everything... assigns way too much busy work home work and sometimes like 3 papers due on the same day and stuff like that. If you're going to take public speaking, don't take it from kracht.

Unfair grader.Tests ridiculous and too specific.Too hard then what needs because things explained one way.Exact wording required for credit.Changes sylabus lots.Not prof material.Boring class.Many assignments,quizzes,tests.Frustrating though nice prof.Excellent office hours for help, though doesn't really ans your ?.Very nice person to chat with.

For one of our speeches, the total number of points was 60 and 5 of those points were from the delivery. If you aren't a great speaker, this is fine but if you are a good speaker it won't show in your final grade. It's all about outlines for Kracht.

Very helpful. Helped me outside of class to prepare for an interview when it didn't have anything to do with the class. Very easy to talk to and he does a good job of making the classroom comfortable. I was an awful speaker before this class.
