Great teacher. Reticent body language, but actually very nice and helpful. She is just not a smiley or chummy prof, so don't expect that. The work load was appropriate to the course and grading was very fair.

I'm not really sure why Dr. Hansen has so many poor ratings. Perhaps she is different in lecture classes... but I took a seminar with her, and I thought she was a very good professor. She is very approachable and patient, she makes her expectations crystal clear, and her marking is very reasonable. I would definitely recommended taking her class!

Kristine is a sour rotten woman that has a difficult time in providing her students with the advice/guidance that is necessary in her courses. She can be rude and demeaning which results in a high drop rate. She is a poor example of higher education.

You DO need to know the textbook material to do well on her tests (which are multiple choice). The panel discussion is a unique and good learning experience that you won't get with other profs. Helps prepare you for higher level coursework.

do the words "Iron Fist" mean anything? not intelligent, can't use tech. aides, strict, unhelpful, too much work, didn't learn anything, tests are irrelavent to material and are marked HARD

Never take this course!!! too many things to do. you have to do pannel discussion, a term paper, tests. it's really time consuming. she is very strick in marking. to do well, you better to memorize every single sentence in the book and note.hardest course
