The class is simple enough to understand, but he is a very harsh grader and will destroy your grade if he doesn't like your paper. However, he is willing to review the paper assignments before they are due if you email it to him, and though his comments can be a little vague, if you do your best to follow them, you will probably get a good grade.

His online class was very easy, despite the fact that he grades the essays harshly and I was only 10 points away from an A and he wouldn't bump it up. The weekly quizzes are easy to get 100% on and the final is composed of the same exact question, so it's also easy to get 100% on that too. Concentrate more on the essays though.

If you are an "A" student DO NOT take this professor. He will destroy your GPA with no explanation. Impossibly unclear assignments. Gives bad grades with no explanations. Worst teacher I've ever had at Saddleback.

Very tough grader. Not clear on exactly what he wants as the tests are more based on opinions than if you know the material. Horrible communication. He made the final due two days early, didn't tell any of the students and refused to move it back to the original date after people started complaining. Had to get the dean involved. Avoid this gu

He grades WAY too hard. He counts 4 tests and they are all essays.I tried my best on all of them and was still only able to get high C's. I was taking another history class at the same time that was way easier, but I learned much more. This guy is way too smart and does not explain the class in a way that people who are learning can understand.

This teacher is a nightmare! He is rude, does not respond to emails, and he is extremely rigid in his grading. I would've complained to the dean if I thought it would help - instead I cut my losses and withdrew beforew it was too late. AVOID HIM IF YOU CAN!

This class was pretty easy. You only need your textbook for the weekly quizzes, one is extra credit. Don't even really need to read the lectures, unless you have an essay due. Print them just in case. If you can write a good 3 page paper, you'll do fine. This was a good class overall.

I took this class online. He is slow at answering e-mails, not helpful with any questions one may have. He is a tough in his grading. We had two film reviews and one book review along with two other exams. If you follow his instructions word for word, you will do fine.

Could not agree more with the post below me. No response to emails and he is very hard to get a hold of. I am taking his online class and it is the worst college class I have ever taken. Be warned that he grades his essays and film reviews very hard. As for the film reviews, if I wanted to do that I would have taken a film class. Just terrible.

I had him for History Online and it was awful. If you want a teacher who will actually e-mail you back and answer questions for you, and a teacher who actually grades fairly without "choose the best answer out of all the already correct ones," then don't take him. Seriously don't.

Be prepared to work INDEPENDANTLY. If you read the book, understand the material and can write a well written two to three page essay on a topic, without lectures you will be fine. Mr. Green is not an easy A, but a very straightforward teacher and always fair. I did get an A in his class, but believe me I worked for it.
