Kris is an outstanding instructor. He is fun and does not take himself too seriously while at the same time, he takes the subject seriously. He is open to and encourages student opinions. It is a nice break from the typical college lecture. I have to give him credit, it must be hard making such boring material fun. I love Kris!

Nice guy. Lectures are methodical and can be boring. But he encourages participation and makes it clear that the classroom is open to anyone for participation. Exams are very fair, and comic books make class more interesting. Good class, good teacher.

you dont have to go to class other than to turn your assignments (which are easy you just need to write something down) in and get your study guide. there are only to exams and all the study guide litteraly is a list of definitions that you need to memorize. i would have had an A in this class if i would of turned all my papers in

this class is super interesting and super easy, does fun assignments and encourages discussion. we are reading comic books haha. i wouldnt say he's hot, but definitely cute, maybe even adorable. as i said assignments are easy but there are alot of them. if you are required to take this class take it with this guy.

Poland was a fun teacher. We'd have class outside sometimes, & he would show the Simpsons in class. He is kind and funny. He has a band that plays @ The Union too. Tests are all definitions that are multiple choice. Its all memorization. You also read comic books and write a short answer sheet for each chapter. Very easy and highly recommended!

Professor Poland was an excellent teacher and he truly cares about his students. There isn't many points in his class so you have to work to get an A, but it is really easy to get a B. It is a good class, he lecturs a lot but he lets us ask questions and we have discussions a lot.

This guy is awesome! Kris is one of the best teachers I've had. He is an awesome teacher and relates to his students extremely well, since he is still in his 20's. Reading materials are very interesting and so are the h/w assignments. If you can't pass this class - good luck with future POLS classes

I thought his class was pretty easy. He gave you the study guides for the exams and all you had to do was define the words from the book and that's the way they appeared on the exams. The assignments from the packet were easy. The grade I got in POLS 101 (B+) was one of my best grades at OU.
