He is just a straight bad teacher. says he wont "spoon feed us" so he just throws us into projects that we have no idea what to do. He told us not to email him because he wont answer them. Also If you ask him a question about a project he says no i wont answer anymore questions. He has no idea how to use a computer asks the class for help a lot.

This class is tough. He doesnt explain things very well at all. When you ask a question he never really answers it or doesnt understand what you are asking. He should teach philosophy and not a business class. For a info to business tech class he isnt very good with computers either. I wouldnt recommend having him.

Kase's a nice guy. His main goal is to help you and says teaching is his calling. He's very understandable guy when it comes to issues, and tries to have a good time teaching. He doesn't explain assignments very well, but will be happy to do so if you ask.

Somewhat hard to understand due to his accent and occasional meandering off topic. Nevertheless a very smart guy with some insight and if you pay attention you will take experience and important concepts out of this class. Easy grader although the final project was very stressful. Didn't give us due dates out of respect for our schedules.

first off his name is kuriakose Athappilly. i had no problem aith this teacher and he really loved teaching the class. he is hard to understand at times but if you pay attention then you should be ok. i never took notes and i did not really study and still did good. his class is not hard and i would recimend him anyday.

The class will seem like a blowoff class at first until you take the exams.They are horrible & no matter how CB & still no curve at all.The projects are easy & the final project is a waste of time. Reads straight from PP slides & does no teaching from own knowledge but brags about being so smart all the time. For having a PHD he teaches like a TA.

Dr. Athappilly was a TERRIBLE teacher. Incredibly rude and spoke of irrelevent things. Do NOT under any circumstances take any class with him. I'm an upper level business student and he was without a doubt the WORST professor I've ever had.

He is a cute little teacher who tries so hard to be funny. You will get a kick out of his english but listen carefully cause sometimes he is hard to understand. The class had little projects from the course pack and the final group project is time consuming but it will help your grade. Make sure to study carefully for the exams they are prethard.

Ok, forget what people say about this teacher being useful in the future. Honestly, I taught myself everything I learned in this class, this professor can barely speak english and I learned absolutely nothing from him. Tests are hard but he gives you slide to study. The projects are good grade boosters but WOW are they a waste of time!!!

Lectures everyday. Says he will take attendance everyday but he doesn't. Exams are pretty tough, he e-mails his slides but does not review or give a review for the exams. Projects are a life saver! They are really easy and he doesn't really grade them that harshly. End of semester project totally sucks and is a total time waster.

I had Dr. A years ago. Many of the students won't realize the lessons he teaches until you are long gone. He is a fantastic professor who challenges you. My advice is to engage him and learn from his lessons.

I took him during the summer, and I thought it was pretty easy. I didn't miss a class, did the hw, group project, and received a B on the 1st & 2nd exam, ending with an A overall. I think if you show an honest effort he will reward you accordingly because my points earned didn't amount to an A... He's a nice guy too.

It's been a few years but I had an excellent time in Dr. Athappilly's course and learned many real world lessons I could apply in the business world. My advice to those here is to engage with him do not be a bystander he is very helpful when approached.
