Dr. Bryan is a humorous guy who seems to just love life and math especially. His homework load is light, his tests are concept based, and he is very helpful if you have a question. He also would send us the first page of his tests the week before he gave it for studying.

Bryan is awesome... by far my favorite math teacher at Rose of the ones that I have taken. I wish he was teaching more classes. He explains everything really well in class, makes his own homeworks (which we usually do mostly in class) and is really helpful during office hours. His tests are super fair if you've done the hw and gone to class.

Bryan was my favorite teacher. It was calc 1 which i took in high school, so it was mostly a refresher. He is super energetic and was the only class i didn't fall asleep in. I thought he was pretty clear, and almost all the homework was optional

I had Dr. Bryan for Vector Calculus and he's probably the funniest teacher I've had at Rose. By far the funniest guy in the math department. He does loads and loads of proofs and derivations to make sure you have a good intuition. Exams are take home tests, usually have a week to do them. Definitely recommend him for any math class!

I think he was a great professor. Gives out worksheets almost everyday which actually makes you use the material you've learned and his quiz's and tests are exactly how he describes them, and the most important thing about him is his sense of humor. Being in his class actually helped me not dread my math class.

High energy, but stay away from his calc classes. He is a great guy, but definitely made for the upper level courses. He seems to be bored by the easy material and feels the need to show off, rather than go through standard examples.

Pretty cool guy. Do your homework and you will be fine. Don't bother learning his derivations..they are only there to show you how to get to what you really need. In other words, they are useless but just neat to see how he gets there.

if you really suck at math i wouldn't recommend him. most of class is just him deriving formulas. his homeworks are rarely collected, & sometimes they're a lot different from what appears on tests. quiz every week. the study practice questions he gives are EXACTLY like the exams. not exaggerating. oh and he likes to do things his way, funny guy.

Professor Bryan is awesome! He spends a large part deriving everything. He also gives really hard extra credit (if you can get the extra credit problems everything else is a cinch) but pretty much no GRADED homework which is quizzed. Too bad he's on sabbatical until next year!
