Comment:

This instructor overall was not awesome. However, if you want an easy A for a social science class, take 201 with him! He does 4 exams online, and a weekly discussion board that counts as attendance. You're required to watch his lecture videos for a grade but you don't need them to pass, you just need to read the outlines and you're good.

video lectures are useless. requires a book &comptr program,(costing over 200$), check amazon for the book or get an ebook and don't buy program, you can download for free & they're on selu cmptrs. doesn't give feedback. hard grader on papers, and when u ask for clarity he is useless. online only and he's only instructor. look forward hell.

If you can avoid him, most likely not if you're a Poli Sci major, do so. He is the most unhelpful I have ever encountered. He teaches online but does not respond to emails at all. He is also very rude. The classes themselves aren't bad, you read a book and write a review. However, don't expect to know your grade until the end of the semester.

Worst teacher I have encountered thus far in my so far three years on campus. Whatever mindset he has been punished with serving is that of equal value to the torturing of Prometheus. And like that of Prometheus his sentence is repeated everyday, only no eagles pick at his liver but instead his own mind crumbles into itself day after day.

This professor is uninvolved, doesn't answer questions in a clear manner, expects you to update his lecture notes, and doesn't follow through with what he says. I would not take again. On the plus side, tests were straight forward.

He is unclear about topics and does not give you current information. He expects you to update his notes but also read his mind since he does not tell you to update his notes. When formally asked to appeal a grade he denies your request and tells you it's not up for discussion. His lack of communication cost me my 4.0 that I worked my butt off for.

Watching the video lectures helped, but there the most boring videos you'll ever watch. Didn't do well on one test because I was unable to watch the videos. If you take him, WATCH THE VIDEOS and print the lectures to have them handy for tests. He answers any questions you have. Overall nice teacher, but boring to watch his lectures.

I took this class online and it was extremely easy! He typed up lecture notes and posted to blackboard and you had some lectures to watch. Before a test, just print out lecture notes and watch the streaming videos and you will make an A. SO RECOMMENDED!! Take him!

Dr. Corbello is the best professor for Political Science in my opinion. His lectures are clear, informative, accurate, and helpful. He is enthusiastic in educating and does his job professionally. Good grades can be achieved if effort is made to study lectures and the textbook. I wish he taught all of my classes.

Dr. Corbello is probably an intelligent individual, but he isn't that great of a teacher. He does try and install knowledge, but he often gets off track. You will learn some, but not a lot. He's pretty easy though as long as you pay some attention. Research paper is pretty easy too

Dr. Corbello is probably the worst professor I've ever had, and I'm a Senior. He rambles incoherently for the entire class and is always late. All he does is tell awful stories and anecdotes, he never teaches you anything. Then, he expects you to do this project that actually requires an understanding of the subject that he never teaches. He sucks.

I am a junior and this is by far the worst teacher I have had. He is a rambler to say the least. His lectures are extremly unorganized, you will find yourself and everyone else looking around to see if you are supposed to be taking notes or he's just rambling again. He is almost always 10 minutes late for class, and is very last minute.

He is not interesting at all. He is nice though. Do not take him at eight in the morning he will put you to sleep. You have to study hard for his test. Do not recommend unless you are majoring in Political Science.

This class will not be hard if you paied attion in civics in high school. He really act like his dosen't care about the subjust. Try and find a history tacher who lso teaches this class, after all this lass is really just the history of politics in America. Good Luck guys.

This was the most useless class I have taken at SELU. He does not lecture on course material. All he talks about is stereotypes of POLI teachers and repeats stories every single class. Notes are incomprehensible. I learned NOTHING from this man. And he is the dept head so you can't really complain. Still made an A, but would never take him again.
