Dr. B genuinely cares about his students, both inside and outside of the classroom. He is extremely passionate in what he does and inspires students to keep learning about the world around them. He encourages you to speak your mind and stand for your beliefs. Hes funny, charismatic, entertaining and by far the best professor Ive had in college.

One of the best professors I had as an undergrad at UB. Truly cares about his students and what is going on in the world. Gives you a fresh perspective on current and past social issues that most people never get to discuss. I wish I had more opportunities to take another one of his classes as an undergrad.

I was in Prof B's class almost 20 years ago. Till this day I think about the valuable lessons he taught. That truth almost always lies between the lines and beneath the surface and that it us up to us to get to the bottom of it. Take any opportunity to sit in his class or just get to know Dr B. I have never seen a professor engage students like this man. The room was huge but it felt like he was talking to just me. He doesn't teach like everybody else. I wish UB had the sense to have him teach more classes. There is no one like Dr. B. I am a graduating senior and wish I met him when I started college. DONT EVER CHANGE Dr. B.

I am in Williamsville North High's class of 2017, and Dr. B came to my school to speak to the senior class for our last day. His speech was energizing, inspiring, emotional, and unforgettable. He gave wise advice, kept it very real, and showed off some sick beat-boxing skills. Thank you so much Dr. B for taking the time to speak to us!

He takes you through a riveting history of the African-American and your mind will definitely be open afterwards. Highly recommend taking this class before you graduate!
