As a teacher, she isn't bad. She has clear expectations, and she is a fair and flexible marker. But, she seems to think that her class should automatically be your most important. It doesn't matter who in your family is in the hospital - you shouldn't make excuses. But...an OK teacher nonetheless.

Comment:

Louise is a great teacher. She's strict but in a fair and gentle way. I never felt that she was at all unreasonable. If you try hard and speak French a lot in her class you'll do fine. She's a fairly forgiving marker. She jumps from section to section in the text but she really knows what she's doing and does so in a logical and well-thought way.

very easy course. Assignments are super easy and are assigned waaaay ahead of time. She prepares students for exams well. Lots of vocabulary to remember. Overall great teacher, but forgets students' names.

Cantin probably has a very good academic background, however her class structure, as well as the way she organizes her course is somewhat counter-productive. She has a high emphasis on discipline and will not tolerate any unformal setting.
