Tom is one of the best computer graphics teachers that I have known. It was an honor to be his student and I have learned so much about computer graphics thanks to him. If I could go back to college I would take his classes all over again!

I thought he was a great teacher. No matter who asked if you had a question he really went out of his way to help and to make sure you understood the assignment(s). I really enjoyed the live projects even though I didn't personally win any. The experience I gained from the projects are priceless.

If you are willing to work hard, listen to the professor's critiques and calmly talk to him (as opposed to those students who have a low anger threshold) you WILL learn and be ready for the outside world. No cliques, he doesn't flirt, he kicks ass.

He is unbelievable. He picks favorites, bashes cartoon and/or video game artwork because he claims that in a portfolio it won't help me at all (I plan on majoring in Game Design/Development -_-) and he asks students for help with it comes to Illustrator and Photoshop.

Assigned projects based on advertising contests, then focused on helping those that looked like they had a chance to win, while the rest of us flapped in the wind. Pratically did the project for a few. Oh yeah, minimal skill + good looks = teacher's attention. It's a shame half of the classes required were with him.
