Dr. Tucker turned me in for plagerism when I didn't. I simply mis-heard assignment specifics and forgot a works cited page at home. I was suspended from the university even though I tried to explain myself. I suppose I should thank her because I got accepted into an even better university elsewhere. Tucker is harsh and misunderstanding!

Terrific teacher. English Grammar is not an easy subject to learn. This teacher responds to her students' request for help with worksheets to meet their specific need. All you have to do is ask. She makes learning grammar fun. She actually does relaxation practice with her students before quizzes and test.

I really liked Dr. Tucker personally, but she simply is not much of a teacher. She talks about everything but the material she actually tests you on, gives nothing solid for study ... seems to be just biding her time until retirement--could have been a great class, but was a total waste of time (I did make an A, so no sour grapes--it just sucked).

I really enjoyed taking her class. She's really strict about taking tests and turning in homework. But I thought she was very fair and clear. She wants to help you to understand and will go out of her way to help.

I think she has high standards for her studnets. Sometimes she is too challenging, but she's very nice and down to earth. She'll help you any time you need it. Being ethical is imp[ortant to her. I would recommend her, but do the assignments. She's not great about late work.

She is a nice lady but just ok teacher. You do homework on new material and then she explains the subject. Also not very flexible when it comes to grades but maybe you can't be with grammar. She will give like 1 or 2 bonus points and think that is a big deal. Only class I ever made less than a B in.

I work days and take night classes. Grammar at 8pm could be deathly, but she respects how hard it is for students and makes it as fun and interesting as possible but still teaches us alot. By the way, I have NEVER heard her cuss. What's with that?&#

I've taken 3 classes from Professor Tucker, and there's a good reason. She really likes her students and treats them with respect and good humor. I learn so much in her classes. She's supportive and she encourages you to do more than you think you can.

I am surprised this professor's rating is so high. She curses like a sailor in class, and may seem nice at first, but it's all fake. The class isn't hard, but watch out for her grading system-it's based more on her mood that day than your true skills.
