Comment:

She is the best teacher I have had for accounting. She makes every effort to make sure her students get the subject. Her excitement for the subject is so contagious. You can Ace the tests if you do your homework. I really wish she taught 1A as well.

I wish she taught 1A too!! She was awesome and really broke down step by step things that were difficult. Very responsive to questions/emails, and really had me understand what was happening.

She explains difficult concepts in a much easier way for you to understand. There are 3 midterms (multiple choice +T/F+problems), 1 project (on WileyPLUS) and 1 final (same pattern as midterms). Some Q's are tricky but most of them are from hw or quizzes and doable if you read the book, go to class and take notes. Only gives you 5 Extra Credits.

I am taking Managerial Accounting online summer class. There is hw and a test for every chapter, 2 mid term, a final, and 2 term project. Be prepared to work, especially in the summer time. However, Professor Venkata really cares about her students and answers any question we have on the discussion board or via email. I highly recommend her.

Mrs.v is an awesome teacher... She's very passionate and truly cares about her students. It's important that you attend her lectures... Accounting 1B is so much harder than 1a. I highly suggest that you read prior the lectures so that it will be less overwhelming. The project I suggest to work on it advance. The multiple choice on the exam hard.

She is a very good teacher and had a lot of patience for her students. Has a good sense of humour and is very engaging with her students. I preferred her teaching style as she focuses to ensure you get the concepts That is not to say you shouldn't do your homework or quizzes. She is strict about getting the HW done and gives minimal credits.

The most passionate professor I have had. A must take for any student interested in gaining a leap in the accounting profession. I highly advise her! She is helpful and understanding and will go out of her way to make you understand material. I would not be interested in the field if not for her teaching. An inspiration for future accountants!

She is certainly a best teacher. I took Acct 1A w/ her 3 Yrs before taking this class, but I aced this class with an A even if I forgot everything from 1A. Her lectures are clear. Midterms are a bit tricky but w/ enough effort it shouldn't be hard to get good grades. Highly recommended!

She is one of my favorites! The subject is difficult but she does her best to help you understand it. She is funny and has fun with her class, jokes around too. 3midterms(lowest score taken away), chapter quizzes, extra credit, one easy project paper. I should have gotten a D, but she helped me get a C! Very happy!

If you took her for accounting 1a, you have to remember everything from 1a. 1b is not as easy as 1a. There will be a lot of hard chapters and she starts to rely too much on the powerpoints and chapter solutions instead of going step by step and doing them on the board. The exams are WAY harder than the quizzes. If you study hard, you might get an A

You have to read the book to ace the midterm and quizzes. Also spend a lot of time understanding the homework problems and the problems done in class. The pace is pretty slow but it's only because there are a lot of materials to cover. Most of the questions are based on what she goes over in class but some of them are from the book.

Her exams are very tricky. But if you study you will get A on her class.. I highly recommend her. About the accents i dont care she is very understandable. She make you feel better after the test. She responds to emails. Please make her as a full time prof. at mission college!!
