Participation matters, good discussion topics, three papers - min 4 pages, final paper - min 6 pages. she provides a grading rubric for papers but i think she prefers heavily detailed case studies related to the topic. you can write about your own topics as long as it relates to what is discussed in class. overall, it was a good experience.

She was my professor for SSY 101. She's a cool lady who wants students to show up and be engaged. She likes students who are engaged and thinking about the material. She doesn't use technology, and really hates cell phones. The tests were the whole grade, and each test had an essay and multiple choice component. Easy A for me.

Please get yourself ready before taking professor Bandlamud's class. Her tests are very comprehensive, including multiple choices, fill in the blank and essays, and essays are the biggest part of the test because she wants students to write a lot. If you are going to choose her class, make sure you have enough time to devote into.

If you don't want to learn anything, but listen to you classmates' stories of their lives that can be absolutely off topic - go ahead and take this prof. Participation really matters. She won't give you a good grade on your papers if you don't participate in discussions. Not a good class for introverted ppl.

Shes a great professor. I can honestly say Ive learned a lot from her class. My advice would be to mark your territory in the front of her class, keep up with the chapters and read the textbook because she likes details and try your best to get used to her accent. Shes a very nice person and has a great sense of humor. Easy A fosho!

I took her for General Psychology. It was the easiest and the most interesting class I've taken in LGCC so far. If you listen and take good notes, you will definitely pass. Very straightforward. And her lectures are so interesting. I learned so much. She definitely knows how to teach. Hope I get her for SSY204.

She expects students to do all the talking and don't give everyone in her class feed back on their papers. As for her grading criteria, it makes absolutely no sense. Students who had grammatical errors and repeated themselves got 89+ If you want to listen to your fellow class mates complaining about friends and family, then this class is for you.

She's a really nice woman, and a really great professor. Unfortunately she only gives two test and its all short answer. Its a hard class. If you want your GPA to drop take this class. Good Luck

Contrary to the bad ratings she's recieved, I find this Prof. very knowledgeable and fair, she's so creative and involves everybody in class discussions, she listens even when you're not making sense and explain it better to you She only expect you to research and write quality essay as required I love Dr. Bandlamudi, I think she's a great Prof!

This class was one of the easiest class I have taken in laguardia. Good discussions. All you need to do is participate in class discussion and write your papers. Don't forget to give real life examples in your papers and you will be fine! If you are a psych major and think she is hard or a tough grader, please change your major!

No exams. Writing intensive class. 3 papers, 1 term paper which is the final. She is a very fair grader. She switched up her teaching style by turning it into a group discussion class. She seems to be doing this new style for SSY241 only. If you love to talk, take this course.

PYCH suppose to be easy. Do not give the mid-term on time so you won't droop the class. 4 papers to give , if she doesn't like your paper at least once you will have a bad grade. Though on class participation penalized
