Mr. GorDon is a great professor! I was scared of taking him due to the reviews but he teachws things easier and if u pay attention you'll understand. Lots of homework but just skins through it and allows you to grade yourself. He's sarcastic but doesn't mean harm he cares about his students ... oh and textbook is REQUIRED

He doesn't teach any of the formulas from the book and his lectures are reminiscent of a high school level math class. I stopped showing up after realizing his lectures didn't help with homework or tests. If you are stuck with him, just read the book, go to the math lab, and watch youtube videos about statistics.

Struggled in this class as a student coming back to school after 4 years in the workforce. Teaching a "case study" style lecture. Not very approachable. Made it hard to ask for help when I needed it. I just felt dumb in his class, wheather I understood the material or not. Lots of homework, and very strict grader. No work, no credit.

Please do yourself a favor and avoid this professor at all costs. He is disrespectful towards students, unorganized, and also dishonest. Lectures are boring and have nothing to do with the material on exams. He says that if you are within 5 points of the next grade level he will bump you, but he does not stick to that so don't get your hopes up.

This class is pretty basic math, so it was already pretty easy. Mr. Gordon is pretty harsh to students that don't pay attention or put in any effort. If you ask questions when you need help, he will always help. He teaches everything "his own way" which was pretty annoying if you already knew it. All around, I was one of the few that did like him.

one of the best teachers ive ever had especially when it comes to math. his method is different than the norm but it is the way math is supposed to be taught. never would have passed if it weren't for his style of teaching. may not be for everyone but if you are struggling with the way most teachers teach math I would recommend mr Gordon.

He is quite hard to follow & does go off on tangents. I appreciate his knowledge & thought process of why he teaches this math, as it is "problem solving" more than it is the actual math. Thats how he grades test- if you do the work than actual answer. However, he does have a funny way of doing things. Just skims HW so just have something written.

I haven't taken math or any classes for 8 years. Mr. Gordon is a great teacher super easy. he is teaching you so you don't just use the algorithm you actually know the math. he isn't teaching at my school next semester or I would take him again.

Do not take this man's class. He is a hair brained confusing teacher, as well as an arrogant inconsiderate person. Sitting in his class was painful. The only thing you will learn is how teachers go about insulting students without coming right out about it.

Mr. Gordon is a teacher who wants you to learn math the correct way. Yes we have learned math in the past however I was very happy with the class. There is a lot of homework however practice makes perfect. He wil only give you the tests once all sections have been covered. College isn't easy but this class was very helpful and I liked it! Solid B!

I took his course a couple of semesters ago, but it still stands as the best class I have ever taken in college. Yes, he uses different equations but they help make more sense of what you are actually calculating. All the problems were very interesting. If you go to lecture every day and have interest in Stats, you'll do fine. I got a super A

the way he teaches, the homework given, and the test questions are 3 different things. you can't go to the tutoring center because either they don't understand it or he wont approve of how you did it. for homework, show everything you do even if its wrong. he grades on a curve which is good, but just take it with another teacher, don't waste time.

He has a totally unusual approach to math than most people are used to, so with that being said- if you are not confident in math PLEASE do not take him. He is very knowledgeable in this subject and I, personally, learned a lot. He is a little brash and says things how it is. i think that rubs a lot of people the wrong way but I really liked him.

Whenever a college level prof is completely anal over an assigned seating chart and begins the first class letting you know he will be teaching everything in a different manner than the text book he has assigned, there are all the warning signs that prompt an immediate drop. No thanks.

DO NOT TAKE HIM!!!!! One of the worst teachers I have ever had!!! He picks on random students during class and doesn't follow the book! He makes up his own equations making it impossible to find help outside of the students in class!!!!!!! HORRIBLE TEACHER!!!!!

Was able to learn the math, but in a very weird way. You cannot go to the tutoring center for extra help because him methods of teaching are so different, you wont understand the normal formulas for statistics. he doesn't like to answer questions, but he does use a grading system helpful for most students.
